Hot Mixing:

Hot mixing is a mixing process carried out at a higher temperature, usually between 80°C and 120°C. In this process, the PVC particles soften but do not melt, and the added liquid plasticizers and other additives are able to penetrate into the PVC particles more effectively, making the compatibility between the components better.

Hot mixing equipment is usually equipped with heating devices and stirring blades to ensure that the material is evenly heated and fully mixed throughout the container.

Cooling Mixing:

Cooling mixing is mixing at a lower temperature, generally not exceeding 60°C. This mixing method is mainly used to avoid degradation or discoloration of PVC materials due to overheating, especially for temperature-sensitive formulations or cases containing heat-sensitive additives.

Cooling mixing equipment may include a cooling system to reduce excess heat from hot mixing materials.
